- Bruno grew up in Ferrara, Italy.
- It was his parent’s dream to see their son work at a bank or become an account. However, even as a child, he wanted to enter the show biz.
- He was 18 years old when he left his home in pursuit of becoming a professional dancer. Tonioli relocated to Paris and joined a dance troupe there.
