Besides that, the incredibly talented actor is also known for starring in more than 2 dozen films including the Inside Man (2006), Prom Night (2008), Sinister (2012), Broken City (2013), Empire State (2013), Sinister (2015), and It Chapter Two (2019). Ransone played for a heavy metal band called Early Man. However, his addiction to heroin did not allow him to continue with his career as the bands lead bassist.
James made his debut theatrical film appearance as a bodysuit in The American Astronaut in 2001. He was cast alongside various actors including Cory McAbee, Rocco Sisto, Greg Russell Cook, and Annie Golden.
